FAQ

What is the difference between an artisanal roaster and industrial coffee?

An artisanal roaster works in small batches and adapts the roasting process to the characteristics of each coffee. At Shoukâ, we seek to reveal the unique qualities of each origin rather than achieve a standardized flavor. Terroir, variety, and the bean's aromatic profile remain at the heart of our work.

Can you buy Shoukâ coffee and chocolate online?

Yes. Our online store allows you to buy coffee and chocolate online directly from the website.

There, you can find our specialty coffees, whole bean or ground, our bean-to-bar chocolate bars, our chocolate treats, as well as our teas, herbal infusions and gift ideas.

Why buy your coffee from a roaster?

Buying coffee from a roaster allows you to discover coffees selected for their origin, freshness, and flavor profile. At Shoukâ, you can choose your specialty coffee whole bean or ground, depending on your brewing method and tasting preferences.

Can we visit the Shoukâ workshop?

Yes. We offer coffee tasting and chocolate-making workshops in Annecy and Lyon, as well as chocolate factory tours in Chamonix.

These experiences allow you to discover the world of coffee and chocolate, the different stages of production, and gain a better understanding of the concepts of "specialty coffee" and "bean-to-bar" chocolate.
